A Recovery Coach or Recovery Navigator is trained at promoting recovery by guiding individuals, families, and communities to identify and remove the barriers to recovery. Recovery coaches help to direct one’s path in life while navigating through addiction and recovery. They help find ways to stop addiction or reduce the harm associated with addictive behaviors.
